Since its establishment in 1997 Lotus Electrical Services has grown into a well-recognised contracting company within the South of Scotland and North of England markets.
We employ a skilled workforce from a variety of technical backgrounds enabling us to diversify our skills to meet a broad range of customer needs. CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SCHEME and QUALITY ASSURANCE
Lotus Electrical Services is CIS6 registered company, which is of benefit to main contractors by saving time on tax calculations.
We are also members of the Scottish Electrical Contractors Association (SELECT), which carries a valid guarantee to our customers of a safe, high quality standard of workmanship. In addition, SELECT (via the SJIB) governs our pay scales and employee-employer contract.
Our membership of the NICEIC is an addition quality standard allowing us recognition throughout the whole of the UK and Europe. The NICEIC focuses solely on quality of workmanship and follow-up testing and inspecting, which is continually monitored by an on-the-spot 12 monthly assessment.

EMPLOYMENT
Qualified electricians
Whether you are looking for a full-time position or wish to register on our database of part-time electricians we would like to hear from you.
Electricians must be able to demonstrate a high standard of workmanship, as set by our electrical contracting associations, a sound knowledge of electrical contracting and be able to give examples of a specialist field. Other qualities we look for in our employees is that they are versatile, organised, reliable, self-motivated and most importantly that they enjoy electrical contracting and do not consider their chosen career as merely a means to an end.
Apprenticeships
We operate an apprenticeship scheme through the SJIB and are allocated one training sponsorship per annum. Please see below in vacancies for current openings.
Benefits
Full-time employees will receive a generous hourly rate (minimum rates for each grading as set by the SJIB). In addition all employees are entered into the SJIB holiday pay scheme which is effective from the first day of employment. This scheme entitles staff to BUPA medical cover.
