RENEWABLE ENERGY
Harnessing energy from the elements (wind, sun, and water) can provide a sustainable and environmental friendly means of power generation. In the UK (and particularly in Scotland) there is a huge initiative to promote the use of renewable energy and this has influenced a wide diversity of power users, from small domestic through to the National Grid, to change the way they think about energy.
Our outlook on renewable energy
Lotus Electrical Services has a strong environmental ethos. As such we support this growing industry and have researched the pros and cons of renewable technology as well as the latest product development in the UK and European markets.
As experienced electrical contractors our approach to renewable energy is to consider the whole picture, from energy generation through to where the energy goes. We prefer to consider a kW of energy with a multiple of uses and like to manufacture the system to suit each individual customer.
What services can we provide?
Our development of renewable energy systems is now entering its second year. We are currently offering an independent advisory service with the ability to advise, purchase and install many systems that are commonly found on the European market. At present these systems are confined to solar and wind products with future development of water turbines, should they become freely available on the market. We feel that this outlook on renewable energy allows us to offer the customer the best available options on the market as many companies still continue to sell complete packages.
We also have strong links to ecological consultants and can arrange for environmental impact assessments where necessary.
